Czech-born Marcela Bahar is an experienced multi-media artist.
She has apprenticed under an acclaimed national artist in the Czech Republic and has studied in various recognized institutes in Canada.

Marcella's passion for living and her zestful curiosity reveals itself in her vibrant eclectic works.

Working with porcelain enables Marcela to get a fluid elegant design, with depth and clarity in the colours.

The work is fired in a gas kiln, the chamber is starved of oxygen in order to achieve the vibrant reds and shinos, that have become a strong focus of Marcela's work.
